Yes, completely. The first consultation is free, no strings attached. It's a genuine conversation to explore your situation — not a sales call in disguise. If we're not the right fit for you, we'll say so honestly.
What if I'm not sure which service I need? +
That's perfectly fine — and it's actually the most common starting point. You don't need to have it figured out before you reach out. Figuring that out together is exactly what the first conversation is for.
Will I get a real person or an automated response? +
A real person. Beth personally reads and responds to every inquiry. You'll always be communicating directly with her — not an assistant, not an automated system.
How quickly will I hear back? +
Within one business day. If you reach out on a Friday afternoon, you'll hear back by the following Monday. Beth takes response time seriously — you'll never be left wondering if your message was received.

Yes. While Hartley Michaels Consulting is based in Columbia, Missouri, most work is conducted remotely and we work with clients across the United States. Location is rarely a barrier.
